I believe you guys and it's good to know. Just reread my manual and it's 25L until "E", then 15L in reserve, so 40L total (10.57 galllons). Funny how these two capacity measurements are 25 pages apart! Never seen fuel capacity of any car or motorcycle listed that way!😜
Ha, I've run mine on 0% a few times for as long as i have the nerve and have yet to put more than 16 litres in. I can't be bothered changing the sender though, I'll just get braver and/or use the trip meter. It's very economic

I use the trip meter and normally fill up around the 200 - 230 mile mark. The fuel gauge goes to 0% around 130 miles or so
Typically get around 25 - 30 litres in the tank so around 10 - 15l in reserve.
I wouldn't want to run the tank much lower as there would only be about 5 litres per side and there could be a risk of picking up debris if there's any in the tank.
The red gasket that came with my 280mm VDO unit kind of squeezed out and looked deteriorated. Ordered a new one from them ( they did charge me) and its black neoprene. Just installed it.

Maybe fortuitous then that when I fitted mine, the supplied gasket was too thick to allow the two screws that also support the cable P clips to bite. Used original much thinner gasket instead.

I, and Dolph in Louisiana, bought it through CIPI in California. Wish I could remember the correct part number but it only uses 6 or 7 of those numbers, like the first three and last four?
