Ha, my email records clearly show my changes were made well before 4 weeks prior to build date.
It was only thanks to one friendly employee that I even got told my build date at the last minute despite countless requests.
I wonder on the timing of exchanges regarding changes between yourself and dealer and those received by the relevant departments at MMC.
On a more general note, my experience so far on contacting MMC directly, is that although sales are very friendly and helpful they can only offer so much feedback to customer queries. Speaking to production yields better results especially when your build start is imminent.
Mark Cerrone (ext.244) the M3W production manager has been very helpful, explaining that by nature of the build they can be a little more flexible than with four wheel production. For example he is ensuring that the screens are left unfitted as my dealer will fit a full Fairbourne screen I have supplied, at PDI.
