I already have, and wear, them. The "barking" seemed less today.

Ken, the only way to tell for sure is to get a cheap sound level meter. Keep the same rpm throughout the gears and record the levels at each point. That way you can see the changes as time goes by.

Hearing and mind changes especially having a great single malt scotch 15 years or older the night before;)

Ken

You are now experiencing the true M3W. Going in you did your research and knew the problems that may happen to you vehicle. You also know the commitment the factory has to resolve the problem. Paying that much for a vehicle knowing the history of problems was your choice!!!

I am close to S&S here in Wisconsin and had some great info on how Morgan and S&S differ on the gear train.

The thing is the vehicle is yours and creating any hostility or nitpicking with the dealer might bite you in the rear end at the end.

You have a great vehicle and the color choice is super!

Just enjoy what you have today as tomorrow may never come:)

Edward

Strangest response imaginable to what this thread is supposed to be about. But thanks!😊

I bought an early car secondhand in 2013. If I had been sensible enough to get on TM and read about the issues I would most likely not taken the plunge.
Morgan have got off lightly regards their reputation, if nof financialy considering the horiiffic amount of warranty work they have had to do.
On the whole they have stumped up and on the whole been very helpful once as they reply to communications. Getting that process started can be a little difficult.
Alot of the communications between customers and Morgan are undertaken with a somewhat subtlety enforced and informal confidentiality agreement so many customers issues never reach this forum.
I dont regret buying the old girl and if the price is right I will trade in for an EV3.
However Morgan still have an awful lot to learn about customer relations, quality control and sub contractor mangement.
The demographic they are targeting withthe EV3 and the more expensive four wheelers may not be as forgiving as us 3 W enthusiasts.

Great looking car Ken and enjoy!

I've learnt over the miles to not get too worried by M3W noises as they do tend to come and go.

Hopefully your "bark" is nothing serious and will disappear - however it will then be replaced by a different noise......
