First thing I did on getting my M3W was to service the Bevel box having read of the sludge issues associated with the initial service.

It's had more oil changes than initially detailed in the schedule (Which Morgan themselves have subsequently altered to service more frequently) but I'm happy with that as I myself now know it's clean and free running. (Especially important as its a very close mesh ratio drive.)

Acquaint yourself with the song 'The Marvelous Toy', by Peter, Paul and Mary. laugh2

Especially the refrain :
"It went "Zip" when it moved, and "Bop" when it stopped,
And "Whirrr" when it stood still.
"I never knew just what it was and I guess I never will."

The Marvelous Toy

thumbs cheers

Ways to slip the stem from my glasses (I take them off for driving ), or the stem from my garage door opener behind various pieces of leather trim for storage.

The way the bottom third of the wings, get dusty whilst the rest of the car stays clean(er).

The HORRENDOUS turning radius, especially at take off. It's as bad as some choppers Ive tried to ride.

The fact that I'm going to be killed by the rubber necking cage pilots wanting a picture or a full video.I pulled over yesterday to return a phone call from my daughter, and had to tell the three approachers, "I'll talk to you as soon as I make this call". It's even more attention grabbing than anticipated.

Only once by accident. I'm a well behaved owner until she's properly run in.

The bark is lessening (540 miles), and the howler monkeys seem to be quieting down. The howling sounds like it's in front of me but I'm not sure and my assumption borne out of research is that it's actually the bevel box. It's only present under acceleration, vanishing under even throttle, or decel. Seems to be vanishing. The manual says to expect bevel box noise for about 1,000 miles so I'm optimistic. It's been a very minor annoyance in an otherwise perfect few weeks of daily morgasms!
