Yes, I think the Autowave is part of Morgan homologation, not something I have experienced in other cars (not even my Caterham came close). The other unique feature is the time it takes to refuel. Filling the tank itself can take some extra time, but this is nothing compared to the chats you will have from admirers of your ARP4 on the forecourt and checkout. Enjoy.

Tanzo Hi, I had this made by Williams - who supplied the car - to my specification. It's made in black leather the same as the seats, and piped in red to match the chassis. Send me a PM if you want more info. Regards

I am not surprised by the ride quality comments my neighbour was shocked by how much more comfortable my trad setup was that his audi at the time!

Loved reading your write up as I am close to receiving my AR-P4 at the end of the month. I previously had a Plus 4 and then a Le Mans 62 +8. I too opted not to go for power steering as the Le Mans 62 had very direct "feel", which I enjoyed. I also drove the AR demonstrator before finalising my spec and it was absolutely fine at low speeds.
The main appeal of this car for me, apart from the look, which I think is great, was the new suspension set up allied to a race bred Cosworth engine. I am really looking forward to the first experience of driving the car to see just how good it is.
I hope to post my own first impressions in due course.
Meanwhile, thanks for your reports and all the other comments. Maybe we can meet up sometime for a better face to face sharing of our experiences with the car. I am down in West DORSET where their are some super roads!

The shimmy is not normal. Take it back to the dealer. It could mean they need to change the spring preload on the front or it's a balance issue.
Glad you like it. As has been said the wave thing comes for free as do people asking about the wooden chassis etc etc
