Folks,
Re dogs and recuperation, our elder spaniel has decided I am not well and have to be protected - she sits at my feet most of the day and scrutinises any visitor before letting them near me - it's like having a bodyguard!!!! I hope she'll get the message I am recovering and am fine as the protective growls are an issue where my grandson of 8 months is concerned. Before this, grandson could crawl where he liked - now the dog reckons I need to be protected from the crawling monster and I don't trust her not to snap!!! Quite a personality change!

Mans best friend!!

Funny you should mention that, I had a coffee at 11 on the patio in the sun with Sue and as it was so nice I thought I would have a short walk out of our close, about 200 yards and then up the short stretch to the main road (100yards). I tookl Harry and usually he would be keen to get going but he just walked at my pace by my side and could not get much closer. At one point as we approached the main road he stopped sat down and grumbled. I was just about to turn around as had decided I had gone far enough. Last night he would not leave my side for about 3 hours.

Only now aware of your recent scare,...pleased to see that you are expected to make a timely, full recovery. I'm at the stage in my
life 70+ where quite a few of my friends and relatives have gone through similar experiences or worse,....Certainly makes one reflect on life and our tenuous hold on it. I count my health blessings every day and hope I'm able to access medical attention as quickly as you did if I am ever confronted by a similar situation.
God speed your recovery,

Quick update, unfortunately had to return to hospital early ours on Monday due to chest pains and dizziness. Took me off beta blockers due to low Blod pressure, and monitored, had another more painful episode requirining nitro infusion to dialate artuaries which worked. Then wait for angiogram to check stents all ok and double check heart. I had angiogram at 17:30 today and consultant said is good and felt subsequent pain may have been due to heart muscle bruising from heart attack and earlier smaller ones.

So it's home tomorrow with a return for a check up in 2 months.

Once again thanks for everyone's support. cheers

Gosh Adrian

Take it easy, I suppose if you don't have to go back for 2 months, it sounds like positive news
