Tim , I'm a bit puzzled by that car being described as a " late 2014 " model , it doesn't seem to have the louvres in the rear panel which 2014 models have . It also has the "comfort kit" fitted which shouldn't be needed with the 2014 chassis and uprights ....

Thanks for the heads-up HJP. I assumed a late 2014 model because of the 64 plate. It may, of course, have been parked up for some time before registration. I really would like to check out another car for comparison and somehow get the CXO to experience the drive. It was quite late afternoon when we got to KrazyHorse and they had a bike do on that day, so it wasn't the most conducive to discussion.

Possibly my best ever ride out in the M3W today. First run out into Wales with the Stage 1 kit and it was absolutely fantastic!
Seemed to have oodles of power and a fantastic machine gun soundtrack. 50 to 70mph acceleration was amazing drive

Took the B4391 from Bala to Llangynog and didn't have anything to hinder our progress on this fantastic road. With Julia beside me, the sun on our faces and a tail slide at the hairpin, I think even the guy in the Ferrari coming the other way was a tad jealous envy

Just for the record, the M3W ran without fault, but we all got a good covering of dust, which in my book the sign of a great day out!

Decided to hold fire on an M3W decision for a bit, until we are both able to enjoy what is an amazing car. In the words of General MacArthur, "I shall return".

Back last night from a family do in Edinburgh and managed to get out today for a run in the sun on the Cairn O'Mount road and various others. Some photos in the Morgan Gallery.

Rear tyre puncture ( complete blowout ) while lapping Oulton Park on a track day.
Luckily it went on a straight.
I wouldn't mind but it's a brand new tyre!
Valve neck has been ripped off so no chance with the magic can.
Waiting for the good old RAC - at least it's sunny

We were braking heavily for knickerbrook chicane when it went.
I thought someone had rear ended me - the back end started bouncing up and down and the brakes were not as effective - tirewall approaching at speed but it stopped in time.

Having now had a chance to look at it , the only damage is the severed valve neck. I thought at first the tyre had moved on the rim slightly , cutting the valve neck but this doesnt seem to be the case. Must have picked up something from the track.
