I would bet that no other recently built car (5 years ago) could reach such a little depreciation, even if the detoriation of € value in the meantime is counted in. I would also suppose, that the depreciation of a 4/4 is the mildest within the Morgan type family. Good deal done, Giles, hopefully you will come back with some MMC product in the near future. You make a fair point about the exchange rate Heinz. Thanks to the shift in exchange rates a brand new 4/4 in France is now €53 400 before extras. Which makes a 5 year old one at €40K seem like good value, n'est ce pas ? p.s. You have a point there about future Morgan buying Richard  In the meantime, it might also be a good lever for persuading  that I might be allowed a motorbike again now that the offspring are both off the payroll..... Good luck with the bike idea Giles, you still have the TVR ? if so maybe a new battery and re commission  I hope the rebuilding goes well for you and the good lady.

And I obviously won't be mentioning the whole bike idea until the building work is finished and I have a lovely tiled garage with nothing in it......

A tiled garage sounds very swish I'll bet you can't wait for the project to be under way now, something nice to look forward to a nice motorbike at the end of it all.

I'm only kidding. does know I still own it, & likes to remind me of said fact when running through her list of all the things I need to sort out. In truth, the only reason I didn't get on & sell the Tiv it is that it's worth diddly squat.

Lets hope they start increasing soon it maybe worth hanging on a wee bit more.
