If you have a daily car and are using the Morgan as a second car then I found Gott & Wynne 01492870991 to be cheapest and excellent to deal with. As recommended by many people on the board if you do a quick search using the box on the top left.

All of the directline and Tesco (main car with them) would not let me use any NCB against the Morgan whilst I had it against the daily drive.

Hope you have a wonderful day.

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

I'd agree wholeheartedly with Alistair.

I use Gott and Wynne and find them excellent. Good service, good quote, no problem with an agreed value and ( so I'm told because I haven't experienced this yet) very understnding when it comes to repairs and the fact that a trad isn't the same as other cars in matters of construction, panel fit etc etc

In terms of WHY I went for them- about 90% of the people I asked had very good things to say about them. The contact guy used to be Gavin Bishop, but I don't know if this is still the case

Cheers

I went to Headley this time (Morgan Insurance Services) and have full cover including track days, unlimited mileage, no garage, protected NCB for £525 for a Series 4 Aero

I've gone with Gott & Wynne, and found them to be very knowlegable about Mogs as well as competetive on price, Phil Stoner is the Morgan man there. thumbs

Last year I put my Mog and my daily driver on a combined (multicar) policy from Admiral, saving about £220 against the individual quotes from Gott and Wynne and an ordinary agency. During the year, I regreted it, as I was unconvinced that I would be able to get Mog salvage or that Admiral would value the Mog properly. Asked for quotes from Hedley and G&W a few days ago. Both efficient quotes (though Hedley couldn't add theirs up properly). Even allowing for that, Hedley cheaper but I went with G&W as I feel more comfortable with them. Now paying £260 more than last year altogether but happier about the cover.

Phil Stoner was excellent when I spoke to him at Cheltenham, and was very efficient when I rang back to arrange cover. The G&W quote was £248 whereas my renewal from 'another' Mog recommended broker was £460+. spend

I use G & W - very happy with the service & for track days there is no extra, the excess is doubled which seems fair thumbs
