Be careful altering the length of pushrods.. Not unknown for it to cause brake bind, although I guess shortening it would give more 'clearance ' ?

I have been thinking about replacing the roller on the throttle pedal with a plate (for want of a better description). Something curved and as wide as the rollers and 50 or 60 mm long. I might be able to work out something that clips firmly on the roller.
