Any non members are welcome to purchase another 4/4 80th anniversary badge. This one was a big deal for me, so I enlisted the help of artist Neil Martin, as I admire his work. Our collaboration was approved and our badge design was authorized by the MMC last night. Four versions will be available, including a gilt badge. Still working out my colors- the new 4/4 shown is a specific car, the MMC's demo Anniv. edition 4/4. I have been more conservative here than is comfortable for me, however I wanted the design to appeal to 4/4 enthusiasts more than I wanted to make a statement with my design. So nothing final, however here is a sneak preview...
They do look nice if you drive one of those passenger challenged versions though
I assume that we are far too exclusive (i.e. nowhere near enough of us) for our better looking versions to feature on a badge
I might go for one of the delightful ones on offer anyway - it will be so low down and the eyesight of those who admire my 4/4 is so diminished that I doubt the discrepancy will be noticed.
