The spring washers that should have been fitted at the factory. Yes I added and cured that problem Ahhhhh... I'm not alone. 😊

What's the reason for the need for the seat belt extenders? Are they short or is it just hard to find the receiving bit?

They are standard length as you would find in any car but the Morgan has less room. As long as your bum is standard size and your clothing isn't bulky and restrictive it isn't hard to find 'the receiving bit'. You do become used to it and don't need the extenders.

I'm 5'10" tall and weigh 157. The receiver is way difficult to get to. A set of $20 extenders ( I got 3" but 5" would have been even better) is a cheap improvement. First time passengers will be less of a pain too.

When did you find time to install split washers? While sleeping? While eating? While pooping?

Dolph Yes (I do all three at once). That's efficiency at it's best... Why haven't I thought of that before???

One more first month thought...the turning radius is HORRIBLE, lol. Went to leave a restaurant tonight at an obtuse angle onto the street. Good thing nothing was coming on the other lane. Advice to newbies...get very used to needing LOTS of space to turn the thing!
