I have posted a bit on the M3W section, but thought it was time to introduce myself properly. I am absolutely new to Morgans or indeed, any classic cars, but have always had a soft spot for the Morgan type ~ especially the early three wheelers: my father learnt to drive in one in the '30s.

By some fluke, trawling around the net, I found out about the new M3W and fell for it hook line & sinker. I had a test drive in a grey M3W at Krazy Horse a few weeks ago and then went away to think a bit. I then noticed that they had a beautiful racing green 2012 M3W that had been fully updated. I went for a drive with the CXO and the deal was done! We will collect the car next Friday as it is having a new rear tyre and steel sprocket fitted. The M3W is the only sports car that will fit my very small garage, as this also hosts a few machine tools in it.

My previous (and continuing) hobby interests have always centred around railways and steam engines. From the very small (http://www.themodelrailwayclub.org/layouts/copenhagen-fields) see photo below

to a somewhat larger 1/3 rd scale road locomotive (https://www.justgiving.com/Parkinsons-miniaturesteamrun) see photo below

I am really looking forward to getting the M3W and will take some more pictures when it gets home.

If family arrangements work out OK, then we hope to join the upcoming Albert Ball memorial blat joined by my son, who is in the RAF.

Don't worry about that Tim it's nice to have a few good photos around the place.

Wishing you a warm welcome to the forum, I bet you just can't wait to pick her up on Friday.
Keep us all in the news with your impressions and experiences especially the Albert Ball.

Nice one Tim

You'll need to get booked up with a hotel over there pretty soon mate😉 We're also looking at booking close to the Chunnel tunnel on Friday night.

Hotel Bretagne booked today. I think we'll motor on down from Hertfordshire at the crack of dawn. Where are you staying near the tunnel?

Leather gauntlets or gloves? Obviously need something, but would value any opinions. Now collecting cat on Saturday: forecast for Friday very wet (Saturday marginally better).
