Yes it was me GaB. Have to say there are a lot of Morgan owners around Worcestershire! I am sure you will be happy with his service. Think you are going tomorrow (Saturday)?

Are you on the track on Sunday, Keith..? I haven't seen an entry list (again!), but I believe there's at least three TM'ers out on track on Sunday - Phil Royle is another

FAO derosa, I am hoping to go and see Mr Harris early next week, hood up all the way on the M5/M42 if necessary. What did he say about the run-in period miles? I've never thought about that sort of thing before - very proper of course. Will a run back from Sutton Coldfield and the Malvern Hills do it, or is it something tedious like 500 miles?

Glenn I am sure there are better people than me to advise but it is generally accepted that you don't go mad on new tyres but for normal driving you will be fine.

Tyre running in - aim for 50 to 100 miles to scrub in, avoiding extremes such as hard braking/cornering/throttle etc. Keith - Should be up there in the morrow...I have camera...ha ha

Right, that's three new Vredesteins fitted (one is the spare) on the rears. I can thoroughly recommend Paul Harris Classic Tyres. He took great care and much time to fit and balance them. I look forward to testing out my new 'poverty traction control' soon.
