No, afraid not for Ashford. All being well we'll leave Herts very early for the actual run. This will be a short trip as I don't want to leave my recuperating wife for too long.

Well, I needed an excuse for a drive again this evening. So with the car cleaned up (a bit). I got ready to go and see Mrs Watson in hospital

Had a super drive to London and took a piccy in the outer ring in Regents Park.

Returned home and squeezed the car back into the garage.

I told you it was a tight fit!

Looks smart. Do you operate the lathe from the passenger seat?

Richard, fortunately, the Myford 254 lathe is further behind the car - so I could use it reasonably easily. Visible in the picture is a Naerok milling machine, which is not used very often. I think I will need to invest in an outdoor cover for the car for when I do need to use the full scope of the workshop.

Great pictures Tim ! Btw an outdoor cover was supposed to be included in the sale, it went to KrazyHorse along with the original shocks , steering wheel etc .

Hmmmmm....that's the way it was sold to KrazyHorse. Does that really mean it's the way they have to sell it? Just sayin'...

I think you may have the wrong end of the stick Ken.

The car was sold for Hugh on commission by KH. It had replacement front shocks, steering wheel etc. fitted already by Hugh. The bits Hugh was describing were the old bits, taken off and in a box, which may also have the lightweight small outdoor cover that seems to have temporarily disappeared, but no worries. I'm sure Sherlock will solve the mystery for Watson.
