I wondered if anyone could recommend a really good cover to protect my new ARP4. I would like something that is easy to get on and off as I do commute in my Morgan during the good weather (Worcester Cathedral is just getting used to the noise as I park in the Cathedral Yard!).
For the moment I am having to park it in an open fronted lean to which is part of a modern steel frame barn. So the car is under cover but I want to stop the bad weather when it drives in and also birds pecking shiny bits and depositing/scratching, cats sleeping on the bonnet etc.
Interestingly, the ARP4 struggles getting in the main door of the barn. That requires going up a concrete ramp, and going over a low metal runner for the main sliding doors. My old Plus 4 got over that without any problems (providing only the driver was in the car). The ARP4 snags on the various bolts etc on its undercarriage. I will be challenging the members of my family who have more of a practical/engineering bent than me to come up with a solution to that one.

I use the John Taylor one, ideal for your situation.

If so an 8' X 4' sheet of 25mm plywood laid on the floor against the door track should lift the wheels high enough, if not 2 sheets might do the trick.

Yep, the John Taylor covers are excellent. I have a photo somewhere taken outside the Otterburn Castle hotel last year. A line of Morgans all sporting their colour-coded storm covers.
