Aero 8 Series I For Sale.

First registered November 2000, 16’000 miles, MOT June 2010.

The car has 2 previous owners, Morgan Motor Company, & Chris Lawrence, (MMC Chief Engineer on the Aero 8 project). On his retirement in 2004 MMC offered him a choice of Aero’s of which he chose X643 CNP, at that point it underwent considerable updating, including the following:

• The Latest hood, 2 clip version.
• The Latest air conditioning unit.
• The Latest bolt on wheels which are far superior to the original arrangement (Chris Lawrence’s words, not mine innocent).
• Heated front & both side windows.

In May 2008 the car had a full interior re-trim, including carpets, steering wheel cowl & heated seats, plus MMC fitted the latest version of the S1 hood.

The car has been looked after all is life by MMC, & is in superb condition, got to be one of the best you’ll find, with unparalleled provenance (again his words grin2)!

Private plate not included in sale.

£36,995.00

Roger (Another) made a few great points regarding the S1 on the other thread that Matt started. This would fit the bill perfectly! Great provenance, great history, great car!

Good luck and I really hope she finds a good home.

Cheers

Absolutely.

A cherished example and with the Chris Lawrence history, a very interesting one.

Good luck with the sale.

Hi Matt C
You definately have a wonderful Series 1 Aero. I also had one of these great cars (V8 YYY now on my 4/4 sport) up until a few years ago and so when I owned it I collected various images (hundreds infact) of the Series 1 and 2 cars. Interestingly X643 CNP when owned by MMC was a Series 1 press car. It would seem that when presented to Chris Lawerence it then became a Series 2 hybrid obviously to his spec. I will attach pictures of both variations of the car, but must admit the latest changes to the hood and interior look wonderful.
Hope you find a suitable guardian for its future.
Stephen

Many thanks for the nice comments guys, also the addition promo shots, I’ve got quite a few copies of car mags featuring the car, also the car came with the letter below form Chris Lawrence (hopefully you can read it!).

I guessing Mr Clarkson isn’t on Chris’s Christmas Card list! innocent

Matt
