I have a TomTom Go 6000. I have now added a memory chip so that all the details of Europe still fit. The traffic jam dodging feature works well.

Hello peeps iPhone with Co-Pilot and Steelie mount, connect the iPhone to radio/stereo via Bluetooth or USB direct. If I did not have a charger socket I would buy a 5v 2.1amp USB car charging outlet and fit under the dash to power the the iPhone. If I had no radio/stereo then a simple Bluetooth speaker on the top of the gearbox tunnel will do the job. Co-Pilot I've found to be very good , relatively easy to use, good one safety cameras, regular map updates. All EU maps for about £35.

I get on well with a Tom Tom. I paid approx £90.00 for a European lifetime maps version. Came with a free in car fast usb charger. Bargain in my opinion.

I get on well with a Tom Tom. Yes, I've always had TomToms, I have a couple of XL Live versions, and they suit me very well.

Garmin for me, live traffic updates and auto re-routing to get around hold ups. Word of warning with phone apps, don't program while holding it in your hand if you are driving. It's an offence, "using mobile phone or device". Stay safe.

Hi Keith, am I correct this applies to any device held in hand whilst driving not just mobile phones, and of course there is always the Driving Without Due Care and Attention?

Hi Keith, am I correct this applies to any device held in hand whilst driving not just mobile phones, and of course there is always the Driving Without Due Care and Attention? Adrian, correct, iPod or any mobile device. Even if it's fixed to the dash you need to be aware it could be an offence. Careless driving or Fail to maintain proper control. Searching for music on a mobile phone is a common mistake drivers make not realising they are still committing an offence.
