No, I'm saying that MMC should operate in a way that befits the product they sell.

The product is antiquated, quirky, hand assembled, imprecise, highly imperfect, only semi reliable, and representative of a bygone era. Sounds to me like they've nailed it.

That is actually part of the problem - Morgan are trying to provide a fancy configurer worthy of Ford or GM. For a small scale / Edwardian-style manufacturer, with a variable supply chain, that is a bit ambitious. Maybe they've overreached. A simple list of options with representative photos could make much more sense IMHO.

Yes you are right. But it wouldnt attract the demographic that Morgan are mistakenly targeting.

Photos would be a massive improvement, heck the morgan site does not even list the 2016 options, let alone have photos.

I think Morgan has always taken the approach of:

"people will come to us, we dont need to come to them"

Truth is that its probably working. Every single person here probably found there way here and about their cars on your own.

Whereas, what in fact actually happens is that the customers adapt to the constraints of owning a Morgan or leave the fold. I was once told by a long term owner that it's a great product but a lousy company, at the time I didn't understand what he meant, but I do now.

I prefer to think of it as an anachronistic product by an anachronistic company. You don't get many combinations like that as industrial survivors.

The BBC could make a whole new series of Troubleshooter getting various consultants to review just Morgan alone... actually would be quite good fun, and keep BBC sales to business schools busy for a decade!
