Thanks Jay. That makes my Monday a bit better. From the colour and description I took it for EZO. Glad to be corrected. I guess it must be MMC then ? Sold to another home.

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

You might find it helpful to go to your settings ("My Stuff" > Edit Preferences) and increase the value for "Total posts to show on one page".

I think the default of 10 was set when the normal method of access was by modem. Assuming you're not still using dial-up, setting a higher value will make reading long threads easier. I have mine set to 99.

I believe this is chassis 02 which I saw being looked over at Mark Middleton's garage in Upton upon Seven about a month ago when I took my own Aeromax (chassis 51) to him to have an engine management light problem sorted.
According to the brochure on the Seller's website this car has already found a new owner. Given that it was listed at £110K it would be interesting to know what it actually sold for.

As a hitherto observer as opposed to a contributor, thought I would just add something to this recent post. As spotted MMC was indeed at Mark Middleton’s and had been for about 6 weeks, and I must say I could not have been happier with both his proactive approach to the work that was needed and the standard of work completed. Aside from normal repairs to the sump, Mark dealt with a number of electrical issues, had new carpets made up from the factory, addressed a couple of water leaks and generally gave MMC a good going over. For the last couple of years the car has been to Miller Commercial, but having made the switch and been thoroughly impressed with Mark, I think this will now be an annual fixture.

In terms of its “for sale appearance”, as many of you will know, I purchased the car from a former contributor a couple of years ago. Maundrells is local to me and MMC together with a couple of my other vehicles have been added to their website to provide a bit of variety to their stock, the car is not and has not been for sale, merely used as a tool to spark interest in the site.

It’s a fantastic car and ever since both the Alfa 8C and Aeromax appeared in the same issue of Evo I have wanted one and when the opportunity came up to buy it a couple of years ago I grabbed it. As a final note, recent posts on TM pointed me in the direction of Mark Middleton, and the sire is a great source of information and comment – thanks.

How does that work, then..? Sounds to me like a bit of a con & designed to make people think the dealer is moving stock on when in fact they're not.?

Glad to hear that you are still enjoying MMC, which as you probably know I owned before Rich. It's a super car with an interesting history having appeared at Villa d'Este for MMC under it's first registration number and been used for many of the press reports on the AeroMax. My favourite was the Richard Harris test on Drivers-Republic, but the last time I looked it was no longer available. Did you ever see it?

Like you I used to lend it to SGT, when they were a full Dealer to help them generate some showroom traffic and it always got a great reception. Nice to see it's still in great condition. thumbs

Love the rest of your collection by the way, some very interesting and iconic cars...
