Hi,
Looking for a new wooden steering wheel for my dads new car. Should one go for a semi dished wheel or a flat one as I notice on the wheel hight adjustment it moves the standard rim closer to the dash..

Flat for me too.

Then the decision, which pattern and which size?

Choices , choices.

The Roadster has a wooden rim which I would not have chosen as I like leather but actually works well

I have to say I like a dished wheel. There's a lovely Roadster in Grigio Silver advertised at Williams at the moment that has a dished wooden wheel with a thick rim. Looks very nice...

Well.. you can fit a mountrey woodrim wheel and chrome horn push for about £110.. As the standard boss is a mountrey one..

However the mota lita option is over £400..

won't be much help but i alternate between a flat 15 inch and a dished 13 inch with a thick rim.. like the feel but i think a 14 inch would be better.. with the flat one i fitted a spacer as my hands just caught the indicator stalk especially when wearing gloves.
