The steering wheel is not centered between my main instruments.
Is it possible to adjust the shaft on the steering wheel about 1 inch toward the middle of the car?

I am able to take a nut off and adjust the steering wheel. But these are older Morgans. I like the steering wheel not centered because I can see the speedometer thru the spokes.

Look under the cowl the wheel is bolted to the bulkhead.

The bolt holes on the steering column support are slotted to allow left to right movement I think from memory

You don't have to adjust the shaft on the steering Wheel, but the opposite: adjust the steering wheel on the shaft.

Under the horn hub, unscrew the nut (item 5) page 105. The steering Wheel is fixed on splines and a cone (page 30). With your steering Wheel there is an interface part between the steering Wheel and the shaft.
