Steve Morris quoted this year's production numbers in March. I can't remember exactly but it was very precise and was something like "873" all models total with specific numbers for each model. The Trads were a significant number within the total.

Whilst the M3W has had a major impact don't forget the (2000) "Aero" range that has been running alongside for far longer than the (2012) M3W albeit in smaller volumes, Jay could probably be more specific. The 1,300 production is from MMC home page today ! http://www.morgan-motor.co.uk/aboutus/

As in year's gone by, Dealer's only had to take a deposit and when the car was ready to have the specication and model given, final paymant was taken 6 years plus. Now dealer have to have available Model's in their showroom's and hopfully if the colour is right then a sale can be made,

Think Geneva is more about brand awareness and getting the biggest bang for the Malvern buck from their meagre marketing budget, rather than potential show sales from the venue.
Supply and demand determines lead times - maybe easy access to North American markets is a significant factor?

The figures are closer to Dave Ws than the 1300.....which I suspect is the maximum number of cars the factory could build in a year. In the days of long delivery times, such items as wings were made by hand and production methods have improved the times taken to build. Production numbers have risen to over the years.
The MTW probably accounts for a quarter of production, the bulk being Trads, of which the Plus4 is the most popular. That said, with the large number of orders in for the new Aero8, the balance may well change!
