Flat spotted now???

I am pleased to report that the new Vredesteins on the back wheels are excellent.
They are well run in now, and all that boy racer squeal has gone.
I have been pushing them fairly hard, and they really do grip well - wet weather testing is yet to come.

Now to the interesting part; excuse my lack of experience/knowledge here.
On pushing the tyres hard, the back end has complained a few times with a sort of rattle/knocking in the axle.

I assume this is a classic Morgan feature, but which one?
I don't think anything is loose. Is it the suspension bottoming out?

If so, might this be corrected with some AVOs and a Panhard Rod?

If not, what is it please?

Assuming you mean when cornering, it's probably the leaf springs banging on the chassis as the axle hops sideways. A Panhard Rod will stop it.

I must admit that I was 'demonstrating' the wheel-on-rails capabilities of Archie.
I just didn't expect the clunk. Mea culpa.

Perhaps I should slow down...but not yet.

Fortunately, I need to buy a Mulfab radiator tomorrow, so adding a Panhard Rod to the shopping list seems a good idea.

Check the tool tray has not sagged and is touching the diff.

It could have been my tools bouncing up and down.
However, I have always found the seats very supportive...

Hmmm you may need some additional surgical support, truss you
