I got a very pleasant smile yesterday from a lady much younger than myself AND my good lady was beside me. It was a sunny day and it was in Devon. (And I was wearing a silly hat).

One of my best Morgan moments was when taking out a Porsche driving friend and a policewoman with a speed gun waved and smiled when I drove past.

You are slowing up old boy  left me tinkering in the garage last night went to her parents and returned with a full tank . , Not very often and never when it's time to fill her Polo or buy a new ferry ticket.
Trips to the pumps are mostly "man runs only" in the Morgan it has to be said.

Petrol pump runs are definitely a man's job only. i usually go late evening when traffic has died down. Funny how the car handles much better and is a lot faster and noisier at these times.

I was talking to the owner of a new bright red F type convertible a few months ago, and he admitted that he had had two embarrassing occasions when he and his SWMBO returned to the car to find notes and phone numbers from women under the wiper blade! He claimed no prior knowledge of the women. But then have you ever noticed how the passenger seats in expensive sports cars are only normally occupied by blonds? Or for that matter how genetics means that there are at least four times as many blond women as blond men. Somewhere in these patterns is natural selection and Darwin. Survival of the fittest? Life can be odd.
