Richard,
I used my 1983 4/4 str extensively with 2 child seat in the back. Rutherford installed a frame in the back allowing for a credible installation of seatbelts in the back.
Both children got the Morgan virus very early as a result!
Happy to see that the 4str will return! It allowed me sharing the Morgan fun wt whole family.

I've always been concerned with the height of their faces above the windscreen (in part from the higher rear seat and in part from the child seat itself...

You could try removing the rear seat to help lower the child seat.

They need to take a fresh look and stir in a great big V8 in the front - no problem...

My four-seater has been a joy to me and all four of my daughters. And my wife has discovered that she really likes riding in the back seat when the bimini-style top is up.
I have a 4-seater, a DHC, and a 2-seat roadster, and the 4-seater will be the last one I part with.

The rear end could be modified with a small boot instead of the spare wheel. The Citroen Traction Avant boot design could be copied.  Add air suspension dampers and an on-board compressor and the rear end can be adjusted for ground clearance by the driver. Harald

Ok, 4 Seaters are still featured on the MMC web site. Look under Cars -> Classic -> Plus4 and scroll down to Options and/or Cars-> Classic -> Roadster and scroll down to Options.
