Just re-fitted luggage rack following powder coating. Maybe the photo will help in determining how the parts go together.

That looks very smart ! They do fit very well with car I think!

So here's the first fit using detachable Harley windscreen clamps fitted with stainless eye bolts and utilising mini rocker cover rubber spacers - (I need another set for the underside) - I'm also going to make a snap ring from a piece of plastic pipe to fit underneath the clamp, cut to slope with the body radius at one end but straight with the clamp to butt up against it. I also think a couple of times around the hoops with some insulating tape or thin rubber inner tube will fill out the clamp perfectly. - A bit of messing around and hopefully we'll be ready for modification trials runs 😊

I waited for 3 months for a Black Rack, only to find out on this forum that they were no longer being manufactured due to issues with the powder coating, so I cancelled the order for the black rack with my dealer and had a stainless one from him in a couple of days. I figure I can always have it powder coated locally if I should so desire.
