Lovely weather today so went to a country cafe in Lapstone, parked and did not bother to put the hood or storm cover on.

Came back to the car and it was full of grass cuttings, and the rear half of the car also plastered with bits of grass that had baked on in the sun.

It seems the land owners had decided to strim the grass bank around the car park and had covered half the cars with sticky grass.

So came home, vacuumed the car (inside and out!), washed it and dried it and decided to add yet more ACF50 to all the usual places, the syringe I was used split under pressure and sprayed all my clothes with ACF50.

So I just had to go out again in the MOG to dry the brakes and cool down.

Rant over.....

That's a Red Pelican day. When I was full time I judged the day to come by the state of the pelican crossing outside Sheffield station. A green man and no wait heralded a good start to the day. A red man and a wait............

Look on the bright side - at least you could go for a drive in the Mog to ease your frustration - the majority of the population would have had to kick the cat or hit the bottle.
