Semi power washed the MTW for the first time a couple of weeks ago when i got caught out in a deluge, previously just sponged and leathered, been out 3 times since and each time the bottom of the mudguards get covered in rusty water, i assume that its from the inside of the tubular mudguard mounting brackets, dread to think what they are like inside and what future rust problems lie ahead, has anybody else experienced this and what steps have thet taken to rustproof inside the brackets?

YEs - I just got the aerosol version of ACF50 and it fits into the tiny hole at the top. Long squirt and all sorted
