Welcome Glenn and welcome Archie

Don't know why but there is something about 1.8 Zetec engined Corsa red Morgans I like!

Big fan of the Biggles books when I was a kid - my father passed his collection down to me and I still have them

If you had kept with the name Algy, you should have insisted on calling your Morgan by it's full name Algernon Montgomery Lacey

Hi Glenn

I was in Worcester yesterday morning on business and as always looking out for Morgans, especially so close to the factory. I only saw one which was bright red, was that you? There was a passenger in the car.

Yes Pants, that was probably me.
(I have not seen any other bright red ones around)

I was out taking hospice patients out for a 'Morgan Ride'.
Very enjoyable, but quite nackering after six patients and 90+ miles.

Well spotted Sir!

Algernon Montgomery Lacey - a wonderful name Stewart.
I'll stick with Archie for now, until I can 'educate' him no longer.
And I have only just realised that (Holme) Lacey was the birthplace of Henry Morgan!

P.S. I am very happy with my 1.8 Zetec. drive
I just need it to go faster and hold the road better without breaking the bank (no throttle bodies).
First up comes a Panhard Rod next week, an easy fix.

Mine is the 'silver top' from 2000 and as yours is the 2001 I'm guessing yours is the 'black top'

I went for the librands sport manifold and sports exhaust on mine plus a K&N filter which I'm really pleased with - a bit more poke and a nice bit noise

If yours is the 'black top' I think I have the K&N filter part number somewhere as I posted it a year or so ago to someone - PM me if you need it and I'll try and find it

Adrian/Eric/Ian,
Thanks for the warm welcome.
I really should get to meet the people of the TM 'centre' at some point.
I missed a recent pub even at Much Marcle - must try harder.

I will be at the Chateau Impney Hill Climb.
I will also be at the Thrill on the Hill, but not as a competitor this time round - an 'experience' ride with someone would be fantastic however.

I know that I also need to get my 4/4 and me to an official TM event this summer as well.
