Just in the process of changing my drive sprocket to a supermax , and upgrading to the later rear hub at the same time.
I want to change the brake bleed nipples to Goodridge 'speed' bleed type.
Does anyone know the thread size - already guessed at M8 - ordered 3 but got it wrong!
I think it must be M6 or M7 - but I am sure somebody knows.
Your help is appreciated

Could be tapered bspt. Just a thought

3/8 by 24 for the front and 7mm by 100 or 1/4 by 28 for the rear.

the Staubli Quick Release Couplings made me really want whenever I disconnect the rear wheel.

Just to confirm, after much trial and error, these are the sizes I needed on my M3W (early 2012)

Front - M10 x 1.0 (2no.)
Rear - M7 x 1.0 (1no.)

Following several unsuccessful purchases I have now built up a 'stock' of M8 X 1.0, 1/4" x 28 & 3/8" x 24!

what is the overall length? i looked at Spiegle USA and they have two lengths 28.8mm and 30.22 mm
Does it matter?? i presume longer would be safer buy to ensure they seal properly??

The rear bleed nipple is rather recessed so maybe the longer one would be slightly easier to get a spanner on. BTW, the rear bleed nipple (mid 2012) needs an 8mm spanner.
