Mark,
Don't keep putting it off, you've already lost four and half years!
Buy a used one, much cheaper and if you like that then trade up to a new one.
Stop procrastinating!

Not quite a spit, but one of my early cars was a Vitesse convertible, closely followed by a GT6, so i almost qualify?

Welcome back Mark!

Since u were last on here I have had a three wheeler and now on my second four wheeler.

My first three sports cars were all Spitfires ..Mk1 Mk2 and a Mk3!

I loved em!

My twin also had a Mk1 and then a Vitesse drop head - we were called the Triumph Boys X our friends!

The 4/4 is a great car and excellent value too!

So what are waiting for?

Plenty of excellent advice on here.

Cheers

Welcome Mark. Don't make it till the 4/4 85th anniversary model is released before you make the plunge! Do it - you won't regret it. 4/4s Rock!

Mark,
A warm welcome from Worcester.
I have only been an owner for a year, but I would not be without my 2001 4/4 now.
The 4/4 rocks, and there are plenty of good used examples around.
Even better with the Panhard Rod I have just had fitted; it has transformed the handling, and all for only 250 quid.
