I notice the floors are now painted black , is that a recent development ? Looks similar quality to that used on headlamp brackets etc hide

If its with similar preparation to the painted section of aluminium panel around the seat belt uppers, it will fall off on first contact with soapy water doh

It already looks scratched off in the driver section in front of the seat. Why would they paint the aluminum? Also, is the factory mounting threat steering wheels with the single spoke at 12:00 now, or are the wheels maybe turned on "Mr. Blue Seats"?

I'm guessing it was so you didn't see shiny aluminum when you looked at the gap between seat uppers and seat belts. A wasted effort to cover up the kit car look.

Noticed the steering wheel as well but guessed it was because steering was locked over. Didn't look bad on mine in that position so will get around to moving it 180°.

many months ago, I purchased this RAM mount with M6 screw to mounting the SatNav.

Additionally, I got this liquid metal and one more RAM mount with M8 screw today.

The idea is to transforming the rather big TomTom car mount into a sleek and compact "motorcycle" mount with USB to car cigar jack power connection. watertight, of course.

I was referring to the floors which look to be painted black.

Also, I couldn't bring myself to rotate the steering wheel 180° ... just looked "wrong" to me with that spoke sticking straight up. Bought the Moto-Lita M3W only wheel with the spokes at 3&9 vs. the 2&10 of the stock wheel. It's freakin' wonderful.
