You can always fit the ride height adjustable Suplex 5 link rear suspension  For that matter the Suplex RS front suspension is also adjustable over a 20mm range. Mine is currently set at a compromise 10mm up from the lowest ride height. This requires 2 10mm spacers (per side) instead of the standard single 20mm spacer.

I installed a Suplex Kit on My +8 Bitsa (1998 chassis & crosshead) using the low rideheight setting. Bilstein shock was too long (compressed) and it broke the bolt holding the upper shock perch. Installed a pair of Koni shocks which are a bit shorter. Actually drove to San Francisco and back with no shocks at all. Did not seem to need them. Seattle to San Francisco and back = 2,000 miles. There must have been something very odd with your setup. There are plenty of people who have run them at the lower ride height without any problems.

There must have been something very odd with your setup. There are plenty of people who have run them at the lower ride height without any problems. All I can think of its the Bilstein shock is too long. It is 10 1/2" from the center of the eye in the bottom and at the top of the rubber that mates with the bottom of the spring perch. I bought this Kit from Mel Rutter. If You know somebody at Suplex I would appreciate You bringing it to their attention. Other than Mel I have no contacts. Button

I have a 2014 +4 and I found the problem with a non-sliding passenger seat was down to a mismatch between hole centres. The distances between centres of the mounting bar below the seat runner was about 3-4mm than the distance between centres in the chassis. Slightly elongate the holes in the bar with a file, to match, and also countersink slightly the floorboard under the carpet to allow for the boltheads mounting the seat runners. Problem fixed.

My measurement of the Bilstein shock (compressed) is 9 1/2" not 10 1/2" as I first measured. In any event I now have Dan Whites Email address if I have further problems. Button Seattle
