The fuel tanks are in the rear not even close to the engine so heat is not an issue. The issue with evaporation is if a fuel line gets too hot... it doesn't matter if the fuel tank is on Mars, the fuel needs to get to the engine via this line. I'm sure you're right that it's not the cause here - but I know that evaporation can be an issue in more agricultural engines.

drk. If the battery starts the big S&S when cold, it should start easier when hot. I had a similar problem intermittently and it was the fuel pump getting ready to go out. I would check the fuel pump pressure, it should be about 58#. Also try turning the key on and off several times before pressing the start button there may be a point problem in the pump.

Hi Hbatts. I turn on and off the key but yesterday didn't work, and i felt smell of gasoline. I guess that i missed the spark plug ignition. I found the MAP sensor loose. I will check my 3W every day in this week to see if it did it again Thane you

Just to add one more item... Every week I take some time to tighten things down and just generally check that things are still attached. Electrical connections are prone. The M3W vibrates something wicked at idle and even at speed you can feel the chassis vibrate through the steering wheel. Loctite is your friend along with some electrical tape and crimps. And like the Space Shuttle of old, a roll of duct tape may be a necessity!
What's your mileage? Who cares. Is it practical? See #1. What happens when it rains? You get wet.

New update. I drove the 3W 3 days ago and when i was back home i stop the engine and tried to start it again and it started without any problem for several times. Today i use it again and i tried again to restart the engine. This time won't start. i heard the sound of fuel pump. I tried lo see if i had a spark and i had it. I opened the fuel tank...retry and i start with no problem. Can it be related to the fuel tank cap ? This is making me crazy, because before stop the engine the car drive is ok thank you for your help

If you open the fuel cap and it then starts is sounds like you have a problem with the breather pipe. Check to see if its blocked. That would cause a vacuum in the system and no fuel flow.
