I'm thinking of doing a stage 2 motor kit on my out of warranty 2013 M3W. Has anyone here done this, if so how has it work out? Any issues?
Thanks, Timothy

Nippymog has this and I am close to doing my own version, based on the G56 kit and ECU (seeing as my ECU and Idle Control Valve have both blown up - very disappointing for a car less than 3 years old with only 7500 miles on it. Imagine that happening to any other manufacturer vehicle.....). Feedback on the Stage-2 kit seems to be very positive all round however.

HI Tim Stage two fitted by my dealer about 18 months ago. Some teething troubles on fitting with the ECU , but between Morgan and Dealer they got it sorted. Very pleased with the improvement , but as ever there is more that can be done - I am finding performance modding is a slippery one way slope once you get into it. The more you fit the more you want etc. All good fun. I recommend it being factory or experienced dealer fitting job - if nothing else for the improved comms if things go wrong. I reccomend Oakmere as they did mine ! ( Other dealers are available . Just seen you are in the USA so scrub Oakmere - you have S&S to play with over there so no worries :):) Go for it !

Have you got the fan kit fitted? If so I'm unsure the G56 ECU will cater for this.

Hello Mark, I have the fan kit fitted on my 2013, are you saying the new ECU that comes with the stage 2 kit will not work with it?
Also does anyone have a Dyno sheet on the before and after on this stage 2 kit? I asked my Morgan dealer with no luck getting it.
Thanks, Timothy

Hi Mark,
I do have a fan install, but of my own design, manually switched from the cockpit. I will remind G56 of this however, just in case their code expects to find fan control and gets upset....
Thanks, Phil

Guys
It my understanding (an i'm sure i'm correct) that S&S will not release any ECU's with a Morgan flash to anyone apart from MMC. The fan control part of the flash was developed between MMC & S&S and is not part of any non-MMC flash.
Our stage 11 ECU has the flash for the fan control

Mark Evans That makes sense and is as anyone would reasonably expect - your IP should be protected of course. I just want an ECU to match my G56 pipes, that's all. And as the OEM ECU has gone pop, I should take the opportunity to get a map that matches my setup, as I need to buy a new one anyway! Thanks for the useful info though.

Hello MOG Hot Rodders,
Building a 128CI motor - It's taking over 3 months for the parts to be ordered, custom made and delivered. (None of these parts are on S&S's shelves, everything is custom made to your order which is how it is nowadays with any speed shops)
New Cylinders, pistons, 58mm throttle body (52mm stock), 569 easy cams, roller rockers arm kit and custom ECU. (no fan worries as I'm a pre-fan model)
Also bought the Confederate Motorcycle's clear belt case cover along with their valve covers. Upgraded to a new Super Max rear hub along with a new rear tire since everything was apart.
I'll write something up after I get her back on the road next week I hope!
I have this terminal disease in that I can never leave well enough alone, Always modifying something! My wife has been looking for a cure for the last 33 years.
I hope its not contagious!

JVS, I would of liked to do the stage 3 128ci motor kit but the car has had two bevel boxs gone bad in just 6,500 miles, so not wanting to put to much more stress on this component so I'm opting for the stage 2.
