I think my walking stick (aka pole) is titanium.
Last year when MrsW fell on it, and bent it 45 degrees, it straightened out in the vice with some effort, and retained it's circular profile. So a titanium badge will perform well in an impact. Or if a clumsy person falls on it...... innocent

I feel I need to apologise to redmerlin for inadvertently stealing his thread with my previous posts on this subject. I think this may have caused a distraction away from the essence of this subject. I think what we should be celebrating is what can be achieved by using ones imagination and skills to attain satisfying and rewarding results, without having to open wide your wallet. Personally it pleases me more to see the excellent outcome of redmerlins efforts, to my mind a true enthusiast than to view a Dashboard by MK Holtztechnik that someone has paid £1000 for and has had fitted by "their man"

After 4 months of waiting for a walnut dashboard from Morgan and now on back-order - Berrybrook have kindly sold me the one they have had on their wall since I bought the 4/4 in February! Mock up looks good I can't wait for it to actually arrive

Looks wonderful. I have the same on my 81 4/4 except I have black bezels and LHD. I have to say I think I like the chrome bezels better. Christmas present . . .?

Cheers,

Mark

Melvyn Rutter has some walnut dashes for older models, in stock hanging on the wall and reasonably priced too.

Dashboard has now arrived and assembled as photo. Did not look as good as mock up in reality with burgundy gauge/switch centre piece . So flipped back to original Morgan black.

But I have one problem with the dash - its probably not for a 4/4 myabe a plus 4?

The new dash curves uo at the ends where the old one was straight - leaving an exposed bit of the door framing. Any ideas how this could be covered ? DId any other Morgan ever look like this. I plan to cover in Burgundy leather or maybe paint it Ivory

I would be inclined to add a matching leather cover.
