Come on Tim, now the die is cast and all that and it's no good keep being negative, can you put the thinking cap on and come up with some positive post Brexit analysis - there must be some.

Personally, I have to say that we have gone from being a stable politcal country to something expected of a Banana Republic in only 3 days. And so the dominoes keep falling...

Totally agree also.

The Jobs issue has been a slow burner for a long time. 'Call me Dave' and gorgeous George have made a big deal of low unemployment, but the truth is minimum wage and zero hours contracts and that's the reality of 2016.

Link that to pay freezes and low public sector wages and you have the basis for dissention in the ranks.

Looking back, the signs were there from the last election. Milliband baled out with little regard for the Labour Party, and look where that has lead,

Cameron has faced his first real defeat and clearly didn't like it, and is making the same mistake.

Too many politicians have been positioning themselves for an easy life in the top jobs. Breaking news - there will no longer be easy top jobs in government..........

As a determinedly optimistic person (believe it or not smile ) I agree. I am sure that the Brexiteers will soon be issuing their strategy for recovery and be mapping out the bright future they see for Britain outside the EU. innocent

Another in agreement.
Maybe we should be renamed "Grott" Britain and "Untied" Kingdom.

What I really don't understand is Scotland - tiny population - looking to be rather insignificant within the EU.

Although I do understand why they want to dump Westminster, even though I'm a Unionist at heart.

I dont want to knock the Scots, because they must have a good reason for believing what they do.

But...... I still do not understand why they want to leave a union where they are(possibly were) part of the fastest growing economy in the G7 and where they are physically and fiscally interlocked and where the SNP have quite a lot of influence in parliament, but want to be part of a failing union where they will be subject to laws, directives and other controls and have hardly any influence.

I dont get it.
