Maybe cylinder fan spot cooling over oil cooler
Below are three different fan systems
the video demo's show big V-Twin idling for days using the fans to keep them cool.

maybe they could be attached on the backside of the motor - out of sight?

Love Jugs air fans - the bigger fan option
Maybe fitted on the backside of the cylinders (jugs)

I would like to see some temperature information on the fans vs the oil cooler. The oil cooler system I am testing keeps the oil at 150 degrees constantly with the use of a remove thermostat control.

so that unit has thermostatically controlled fans as well? That may be the one to go with since it is actually going to be designed for the mortgage and would have all the proper oil lines and everything included I would assume.

Bewitched,

When I had my blown '57 392 Chrysler hemi built and dyno'd, the builder would not do a pull on the dyno until the oil hit 180 degrees. He said that the engine will respond better to the higher oil temp as well as if it's too cool, the water vapors in the oil will not vent off properly.

I'd just be careful of having to low of oil temp.

I have sent Ultra Cool a query as to fitting this on the M3W. Having an oil cooler that kicks on when the temps are getting too high sounds like a good idea to me. My M3W is a 2012 without the now stock cooling fans. I live in Vermont where traffic lights, traffic jams and stop and go traffic are myth and legend. Except for the coming July 4th Parade which I will be in and the Fall driving through the various townships where people will flock in droves to see the leaves change. "Once more before I die, George, I wish to see the leaves change..."

Ultra Cool just got back to me with the fact that the 'people who know' are out for a long weekend. I'm cool with this. Call back next week is fine. They also admitted that they are fielding calls from M3W owners.

This site?

Probably
