I had a fan cooler on my Harley in Spain. It was positioned to draw air across the two cylinders. Harley call it a "parade fan". It worked very well in Spanish hot weather and crawling traffic. There are alternatives and I would look at the HD forums for advice.

Thank you for letting us know that term! If you Google Harley parade fan all kind of interesting Harley Forum posts come out about the varying results people have had using them! And some very good debates going back and forth about cooling fans versus oil coolers. Wake my boss always says "do some research, we can't be the first people to ever have this problem."
