It was a great car to own but I found that most of the time I was driving at no more than 3000 rpm where I could then easily pick up speeding tickets whereas I can Rev the nuts off the 4/4 and have a lot more fun but not get speeding tickets.

The Trad hood can be improved with neoprene seals, but doesn't come close to the convenience or looks of the easy up. If you run a Morgan through winter you will keep the interior much drier if you park up with a storm cover over the hood. The storm cover only takes a minute to fit or remove.

Steve has pretty well summed it all up.
The Trad buttoned hood can be a pain .
But on my 4/4 I quickly got used to it and with practice I got pretty good at Up and Down .
It folds really flat too so that a bonus. The hood on my Plus 8 is a Trad one by choice. As Neil says you do get used to it and it does give a much flatter line with the hood down, which makes it worthwhile imho. Having driven through some very heavy storms, it does not leak though I get the usual drops coming through at the front/bottom of the screen. So far I have not attacked it with a DaveW directed assault of neoprene, but I'm quite happy with the performance of the hood!

Comes in by the bucket load - mind you it is always neatly folded up underneath the sidescreens in the back of car sun, rain and snow!

By comparison the 3.7 Roaster is much quicker, has the watertight , well almost, easy up hood and just goes and goes and goes. Now Morgan have sorted the rev overhang issue which could be nasty if you were hurrying in traffic it's great fun and not much can catch it.

This is what I will do with mine since it leaks like an angry incontinent.

I managed to get my SS water tight and draft free but thought it would be ripped off at speed 80 to 90 ..it flapped and became quite noisy.
