I have accepted the challenge Roger. It's early in the day, and sounds like fun...
I had a new Sifab (Mulfab) radiator fitted last month. The previous radiator I assume was from new, but had started to sprout a core leak last year.
The previous history of the car was that it had only done around 100 miles per year for the last 4 years before coming into my ownership. That, to me, is much that same as being in storage/unused for four years, hence the probable decay. Plus my naive jacking the car up at each wheel instead of centrally...
Having spent over 500 quid on it, I was interested to see the result. I measure 0.14 on the Richter scale, so I assume it is OK. It has to be !

I should point out that although SiFab and Mulfab radiators are outwardly similar (I did work with Peter for 6 years and made approaching 800 radiators in that time..), SiFab radiators use a stronger alloy for the tanks and components, swept bends instead of cut and welded tubes for better flow, and some slight differences in manufacturing technique. Simon, Thank you for clarification - I mistakenly assumed they were the same. Wrist slapped, and good to hear that my new radiator is clearly the dogs b******s.

Glenn - I’m with you, just want to protect my investment. It’s difficult to be absolute as to what these numbers mean in isolation but I suspect it is an indicator that something is fizzing away somewhere. Les’s numbers would have been interesting.
Coolant quality is important, age, contamination and pH value matter. One thing I did do on the last rad swap was to really flush the old muck out of the block. Stuck the hose in and left it running for ages. Also the with 50/50 coolant mix I used distilled water rather than tap water in an attempt to get the numbers down.

Does the 'fizz' increase with age? - and I am not referring to the consumption of Prosecco... Does anyone else feel sad enough to check their voltage? Would be interesting to know what kind of variation there is amongst the TM community. Does a new model have no leakage (voltage) at all?

I'm sorry Les to see your problem but glad you now understand the situation more. Looks like AR are being very fair. Thanks to Rog for that very scientific approach as it's something I would never have thought of but can now understand. Just means we've all got to keep driving our Mogs more.
