Thanks Hopwood - I had a read of your thread whilst searching on here for clutch related issues. I must admit that I'm of the same mindset - the car could be on fire and I'd still want to drive it. Thank goodness it isn't terminal just yet...

Well, this is kind of embarrassing. I took the car to Melvyn's garage on Monday and was told all was well. I think a mixture of new car paranoia and the unique way Morgan sound proof their cars (ie none) had me worried!
Anyway, since then I've been out and the noise is hardly noticeable (strange how the mind plays tricks). I can now continue falling in love with this amazing car again!

 No worries, I find myself turning off the radio each week to investigate another new sound comming from the car. You'll get used to it. Enjoy yours!
