Next week will be taking delivery of my new 'baby' - https://allonwhite.co.uk/used-morgan-cars-for-sale-uk/1991-morgan-4-4-brunswick-green-st890

The car will be serviced inc new cam belt - king pins new tyres and i'm sure a good value purchase.

any ideas about anything I should add while the car is in the shop being serviced or add ons like bonnet strap badge bar union jack etc - what else would you specify?

If it is no issue to install it on a 1991 4/4 I would add brake reaction bars. Later on I would add AVO dampers. a very nice and sortet looking car btw.

Further more, 19K miles are cool for a purchase of a 25 year (young) Mog. Good in terms of over all wear. If you like to put some more miles on her, I would study the documents how long she probably was not in use over the last years. So you have an excellent base for years to come. But carefully observe everything during your first 3000 miles in terms of all fluids, engine oil consumption, coolant liquid, condition of the radiatior etc. Engine wise I would treat her as a very new car, running her in gently.

TBH I think your car looks like one of the best purchases I saw during the last years. I fall in love with her at a glance.

Great looking car and super green, I agree brake relation bars, and panhard rod , follow up with Avo's. You might want to consider bonnet stays from Eolf Performance, they make keeping the bonnet open easy and safe. If AW are doing the kingpins I would ask for hardened chrome ones, much better and only an extra £80 or so with the better bushes.

Have fun thumbs

Hi Mike , i have hesitate to take this car, just some small point balance in favor of Ms Green Tea , she almost prefect as Heinz i will drive her gently at first month , so if some part become aged you will feel it before it's too late our lovely baby are easy to maintain and strong but doesn't mean we shouldn't be cautious.

Concerning the option is really difficult to say at in my eyes it's a question of choice

Hi nice looking car.
I would hesitate about fitting bonnet strap. It can cause rubbing once grim gets under it.Even the sheep skin lined ones mark the bonnet.
I would definately fit the stainless door straps instead of the leather ones. They keep the door open when getting in and out as great aid.
The only other advice use the car and enjoy Morgans don't dissolve in the rain!

sherlock A very sound investment is my verdict. Forget Bonds Isas and all that paper stuff.
