Just hit a pothole on the A12 and another alloy has been dented (the curved lip flattened). Are these wheels (as seen on the white Coupe in the header of this page) particularly weak or am I just unlucky? Two replaced and now another dented in 3,000 miles and 2 years...

George tyres in Maldon have a wheel straightening machine, providing its not too bad, worth a try?

I have had a slightly buckled one for the last 2 years - I really ought to get it fixed

George tyres in Maldon have a wheel straightening machine, providing its not too bad, worth a try? Thanks - may give them a call. Just inspected the car - the right rear is also flat spotted. So 4 in 2 years, 3000 miles. Wonder if it's more prudent medium term to ditch these in favour of something else?

Good luck with that!! There are a few aftermarket wheels that can fit but they need to be made to order. For me that isn't an option as the COC says 19" - so 19" it will have to be. 1 buckle in over 2 years and 10000+km isn't too bad.
