Yup, I don't think painting the area would look right, much better with leather covering.

Bling complete New dashboard is fitted as photos - last is before photo as car was when collected from Berrybrook. Still waiting for the glovebox door catch so fitted without. Yes there is an obvious error 4 spoke wheel hides the inidcator light cluster he ho. Not happy with black centre gauge cluster may go back to burgundy as trim or even ivory as body colour

Like Red and Button, I to have a Dashboard project under way. I have decided to replaced original leather faced Dashboard, pretty much identical to Reds except the clocks on mine have blackened bezels, with a burr oak veneered Dashboard that will have magnolia clocks, a button start, Mark 2 Jaguar 4 position rotary light switch and a warning light array that I have in the form of the Morgan badge with direction indicators, oil pressure, brake, charge and beam lamps I have included a few pictures to give you an idea of what I am trying to achieve   hi amazing part, i am very interested to get one for me of course if you agree, , your idea is simply genius , BTW witch 3D software do you use ?

Hi Yann, thank you very much for you comments. In answer to your question I created the model in NX and converted it into a Parasolid text file for my friend to produce the body by additive manufacturing. The lenses I made on a conventional mill and lathe
