I didn't think it would work without the V twin but seeing this video it looks like it's got a unique character all of its own. And it may even be reliable! Why might it be reliable? I guess that the smooth power delivery from the electric motor may well avoid some of the issues that arise as a result of shock loadings due to the pulsed nature of the delivery from a large V twin, and the lack of the vibrations emanating from the aforementioned S&S unit might mean that less parts will shake loose. I think the styling of it is great; I'm intrigued by the screen - presumably (as with the M3W) this arrangement is an aftermarket item. The nature of the vehicle, as a fun toy, is such that the limitations of a restricted range may well be much less of a problem that it would be in an everyday car. I could certainly see the EV3 as being the next Morgan in my garage. Despite my remarks above, I'd definitely wait a couple of years for the early buyers to smooth out any wrinkles.

I've watched this video 3or4 times. Does this have unspoked solid wheels? Yes it does. I asked Jon about the weight and they weigh the same as the wire wheels. They do look good in the flesh

I was under the impression that Belstaff is now owned by an overseas (Chinese?) company.....not sure about the status of the other 'partners' in the project.
parent group is Swiss as far as I know - they do some manufacturing and finishing in the UK and i'm guessing some will also be done in the far East

The lack of engine noise doesn't bother me. I feel like the sort of person who could enjoy flying in a spitfire, with the noise and drama, or a glider for it's serenity.
Really love the retro robot look.

They talk about hearing the tires and wind noise in the video.
But did you here the wining electric sound that it gives off as it drove by? that would drive me nuts!
Also the engine sounds of Big V Twin over rides many other noises of the M3W's belt drive and other squeaks associated with our wooded/aluminum ride.

Hard to say without first hand experience. I wouldn't write it off until I tried it though.

IDK, a silent M3W.... it's like muting a porn video.
I get the obvious marketing advantages here, but the sound track is part of the experience..remember the first time you did it without a condom?

loud cammy sounding motors noises are only sexy to older generations that grew up with racing and turning wrenches. Today I think the millennial's are afraid of noisy mechanical machines since everything is very political correct and hard to work on. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hLD1cjqnWZ4
