I don't think anyone is trying to be negative or dismissive but rather trying to answer your question and perhaps not the answer you want to hear.
........
Would be interesting to see what you have in mind for your Morgan. Please keep us updated.
i never ask question waiting a reply i want to hear :-) and all comment are really welcome
of course i follow Dave post
concerning mine Ms Green Tea will not suffer many change, but her sister the story is not the same story , i intend to buy a Roadster 80" or 70" strip her and remade all , mainly improve it for made a daily drive , as i have knowledge in mechanics and metal shaping and electricity , i want to made the car and drive for 20 years without hassle, will took time and energy but it will be a pleasure, i confirm i am maybe masochist :-)
For have rebuild several antique cars i know how it can be hard job if you really want to have a prefect car
May I suggest rather than modify, customize, or tune a MMC Morgan, why not do as I did and build what I want out of spare or used parts. My "Itsa Bitsa" is an example of what can be done. I did not like any of the driver's side mirrors. So I found something I could adjust and see the cars beside Me. Tail Lites, No Problem, I have always liked the '60's Morgan. Diode's make them very visible. Windshield wiper - Manual Boat. Interior - always liked the race car look - aluminum sheet (not done). No ignition key - Jag lite switch. Lites are on when ignition is on. Roadster style seats - lots of support. As I live in the US I used a T5 transmission and a Chevy S10 diff. Presently changing engine from a 3.5 Rover with Buick 215 heads to a Morgan/Rover 3.9. Nothing wrong with the 3.5 except alternator bracket broke 3 times. The 3.9 has a well designed alternator bracket. Carb I do not understand EFI (but I am working on it).
I had fun sourcing and building the Bitsa. I change/modify it at will. I have an idea a minute about the Bitsa. Some of them are good ideas. I certainly have learned a lot about Morgans. I do not enter in any situation where it will be judged. The Chassis Number is not a MMC number.
Sounds very interesting and wishing you all the luck. Be sure to start a build tread when you get around to this!
i dono if you read the blog of Peiking to Paris , i want to do almost the same story, but not a race over half of the continent. More a car for made a trip around austalia or new zealand and don't carry realy , fuse ,bubble bearing or other stuff like this ...

Button Seattle
it's almost my idea, but my question is not for my project it's more because i feel really surprise with so many passionate people to don't have car with difference other than the MMC option

BTW , where can i see Bitsa ?
Could it be that people chose to buy a car nearer to the end objective when they think about serious modifications. For example, the charming old style construction of a Morgan means a lack of chassis rigidity, a lack of rear wheel movement, too much unsprung rear weight and crude rear brakes. None of this is an issue for a buyer wanting an old style car with a decent modern engine. But it is a major problem for a buyer who wants to create a modern road going sports car. And thats before we even get to issues like aerodynamics.
The Trad simply isnt a good platform for major mods which is of course the reason why MMC went the Aero route for the V8 replace.
So instead owners who love their trads, and there are a lot of them, tittivate with trinkets rather than make major changes.
