Just got back from a rather interesting trip to Jaguar Landrovers Research and Development place at Gaydon. Wow.....what a fascinating place but sadly no photos as cameras are strictly forbidden. Lots of vehicles covered in black and white dazzle wrap and odd bits of foam but three real areas of interest. Rooms full of the latest state of art 3D printers....all churning away. Some very elaborate prototype test structures were on show, including a complete V6 with ancillaries etc. A huge testing area, probably the size of the Morgan factory, with rigs testing everything from chassis rigidity to dummy heads hitting dashboards. And the most surprising of all, Audis, Mercs, BMW i3 and i8, Porsche, Latest Volvo hybrid SUV, Mini Clubmans etc being dismantled, every bit photographed, analysed and tested!
Finished off with lunch in a rather nice pub just down the road, The Antelope at Lighthorne.
Jays Former Morgan owner. Gone but hopefully not forgotten!
A rather nice drive back from an overnight at The Cottage in the Wood in the company of Budster, LLB and of course Stanley......who is sitting in my drive looking rather lovely!
Not long back from extended weekend. It started at TOTH and has just finished with Stanley washed and back in its garage. Slightly erratic brake lights (switch suspected and will be fixed by Berrybrook when it's soon in for its MoT and annual service)
Below is the picture Jays took and attached a fantastic one from Stringers Best Mate. (TlLB, Yours truly, Mrs SBM + Jays and of course Stanley) Great meet up and enjoy time with so many TMers. Ginger Beer and Dandelion & Burdock!!
Great photo of you all

Yes I was a nice uneventful drive went well, the 'unique' suspension.... Is that my spine? haha If so yes it was rather interesting. I can now tell you every single bump down our road
This afternoon we travelled down to Derby in the Roadster. It looked like it would be a shite journey. First of all it was pouring with rain as we set off. Then I found I only had half a tank of fuel. As we approached the M18 and the fuel stop there was heavy congestion and pouring rain. I still have water seeping through the stitching on my hood.......
So my intention was to head south the non motorway route. As we approached the roundabout there was a 40 limit heading north. But as the southbound side came into view, traffic was light and moving well.
So we took a punt and joined the motorway. Within a mile the road was dry. We had an easy run down in good time. It was quite remarkable for Friday afternoon.......
It was ghastly going north though.
So I'm happy. Apart from the leaking seams.

I had a leaking seem on my roof when I was down at Manjimup and put the roof up for the deluge overnight. I was advised to buy the same stuff as they use on rugby boots to keep them water proof and to rub it in.
Pleasant run down the Fosse yesterday (Friday) afternoon. Heavy traffic in Stow though where we saw 2 Morgans heading north both loaded and hood up HxxxPAB you on here?
The day was rounded off with Fish&Chips in Cheddar Gorge. A grand day.
