All GTN's came with then hardtop. Some were specced with soft-tops as an extra. I know of 3 including mine have the soft-top.

I took the hard top off when I first got the car and keep it in the garage.

it looks better with the hard top I think but I like the wind in what's left of my hair laugh2

Yes it was Mark I caught up with. It's very helpful Morgan policy to try and hire only people called Mark or James/Jay for those of us with poor memories rofl

I forgot to answer about the roof type. It looks like a standard S1 hood of the later type so it doesn't fold down as flat as I would like and it has the MX5 style front clamps and the glass heated rear screen.

Thanks Shooter, interesting to know as I need a new roof on mine and could do with more headroom from a later style soft top roof - so knowing the hardtop fits over it is good as I must say I do love the hardtops on the GTN.
I desperately want to source one as I have seen one other series 1 car with one (racing car) and I love the look/practicality.

However I think my only option is to get some measurements and dimensions if Morgan have them and see if I can get one made..perhaps I will need to save up for a while!

Washed Rosie in Blue yesterday, dried her off and then tucked her up under her cover in the garage for the next 7 days. swmbo got up early and took me to Exeter Hospital, hopefully for the last of the heart re-plumbing job. So to let those that know me it went well and at this point I am angina free joy, I hope it stays that way and according to the excellent surgeon I should be pretty good now.

Happy Morganeering to you all
